**Please note we cover the themes on a fortnightly basis, so the Thematic Homework Oral Language and Writing sheet will be kept for 2 weeks. The second task will be for next week's homework.**

Monday:

• Sound Book: 'qu' sound activities.
• Link to 'qu' Jolly Phonics song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Z-yjA3g4Qo
• Graded Reader - Listen to your child read for at least 5 minutes.
• Revise all Tricky Words. No new ones this week! (See links below)

Tuesday:

• Handwriting Book: capital letter 'S'.
• Link to 'qu' Jolly Phonics song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Z-yjA3g4Qo
• Graded Reader - Listen to your child read for at least 5 minutes. (Don't forget to pop your child's book into their schoolbag! Parents come in on Wednesdays to practice reading with the children. Teachers will swap books today too if they're signed.)
• Revise all Tricky Words. No new ones this week! (See links below)

Wednesday:

• Take a look at the Space Oral Language activity.
• Graded Reader - Listen to your child read for at least 5 minutes.
• More revision of Tricky Words (See links below).

Thursday:

• Thematic writing task 2 - Unjumble the sentences and write correctly.
• Graded Reader - Listen to your child read for at least 5 minutes.
